The first chapter of an ongoing comic book series ‘The Light Bringer’ made by Jianshun Jin. The Light Bringer is a dark fantasy story where we follow a mysterious figure called ‘the messenger’ carrying a flickering whisp of light. They must deliver the light to the heart of limbo-a hellish landscape fill with twisted creatures, as we descend deeper and deeper, we discover what kind of horror sleep beneath the earth and what the ‘Limbo’ and the ‘Light’ actually represent. This project involves world building, creature design, character design and environmental storytelling that aims to capture the audience’s curiosity as well as their love for horror.
